The hydraulic cutting machine consists of the following three basic parts.
1. Mechanical part: composed of the body, working mechanism, and stroke adjustment device. The gantry hydraulic cutting machine also includes a sliding saddle moving feed device and an automatic feeding device.
2. Hydraulic system: composed of hydraulic pump, actuating element (hydraulic cylinder), control element (pressure valve, directional valve), auxiliary components (filter, oil tank, pressure gauge, etc.).
3. Control section: including electrical control circuits composed of switches, relays, contactors, and other components, as well as photoelectric safety protection devices installed in some cutting machines.
The stroke control of hydraulic cutting machine includes two aspects: upper limit position adjustment and lower limit position control. There are several methods to adjust the upper limit position of its working organization.
1. Change the position of the travel switch and adjust it using mechanical electrical hydraulic interlocking control. In the 1960s and 1970s, many hydraulic cutting machines produced domestically and internationally used this method to adjust the upper limit position of the working mechanism. In some new cantilever hydraulic cutting machines, there were also types that used the traditional hydraulic cutting machine's machine electric hydraulic interlocking control method, such as the 8LE, 8LES, 8LEST, 8LEST and other models produced by the German company SCBON, but they used contactless switches.
2. Electric: The motor is adjusted through a mechanical transmission mechanism with a power shaft pressure plate, such as the hydraulic cutting machine with hydraulic swing arm device of Czech 06135/P1 type.
3. Manual: Rotate the handwheel and directly drive the vertical shaft pressure plate adjustment through the spiral motion of the screw, such as the GSB-I hydraulic cutting machine in the UK.
4. Hydraulic: Rotate the handwheel and adjust it automatically through a hydraulic servo system, such as the hydraulic cutting machine of the S series model from Rudoli.
There are two methods for controlling the lower limit position of the working mechanism of a hydraulic cutting machine.
1. Travel switch control: By changing the position of the travel switch and using mechanical electrical hydraulic interlocking, a signal is given to control the lower limit position of the travel using a contact equipped travel switch or a contactless switch.
2. Time control: This control method delays the input signal by a certain amount of time through a delay circuit before outputting it, thereby controlling the suction time of the solenoid valve to achieve work stroke control. There are methods that directly input the trigger signal through the control button, as well as methods that input the trigger signal through pressure sensing elements based on changes in hydraulic circuit pressure.
