Daily maintenance: Cleaning and dust removal
After cutting, use an air gun to blow away debris from the gaps between the cutting die and workbench, especially for hydraulic models. Dust accumulation can cause blockages in the oil circuit.
After wiping the knife mold, apply anti rust oil to prevent rusting in humid environments.
Weekly maintenance: lubrication maintenance
Drop a few drops of industrial lubricating oil (such as Mobil DTE) on the guide rail and bearings, and add butter to the flywheel for mechanical models.
Check the hydraulic oil level for hydraulic models. If it is below the centerline of the oil gauge, add more oil. If the oil color turns black, it must be replaced.
Monthly maintenance: accuracy calibration
Check the cutting depth with a standard test block, and adjust the pressure sensor if the error exceeds 0.2mm.
Check if the fixing screws of the knife die are loose. Loose screws can cause cutting deviation and a surge in scrap rate.
Emergency situation handling:
Can't cut through? First, check the pressure gauge. Insufficient hydraulic pressure may be due to worn oil pump.
Is the knife stuck? Immediately cut off the power and lightly tap the knife mold from below with a wooden stick. Do not pull it directly with your hands.
